Board of trustees

Lev Ambinder

Leader of Rusfond, author of “The Russian Foundation”, co-founder and President of the foundation “Pomosch”, a member of the Presidential Council for Civil Society and Human Rights.  Journalist and publicist Lev Ambinder graduated from the Kazan State University Faculty of Journalism, and is presently an employee of the Publishing House “Kommersant”.  Winner of the “Silver Archer” (“Серебряный лучник”) National Award.

Svetlana Kravtsova

Svetlana graduated from the Murmansk Technical University in financial law, the Moscow State Lomonosov University Faculty of Geography, and the Institute of Psychoanalysis.  She is the owner of the restaurant "Georgia".  Svetlana has been living in London for over four years, of which two have been spent actively helping children with cancer in London.  She has a son and a daughter.

Olga Jaffe

While her early dreams of being a fairy with a magic wand were perhaps unrealistic, Olga became a successful banker instead, graduating with top honours at the Financial Academy in Moscow and going on to be the youngest CFO of Moscow's BNP Paribas. After continuing her career and education in both the UK and the USA, she has advanced to the challenging (yet rewarding) position of full-time mother to her children, now 11 and 7 years old.  She says: “Becoming a part of Rusfond has allowed me to fulfil my childhood dream, even if it is without a wand or wings. I am fuelled by a heart full of compassion and love for those whose childhood is so different from my own. As Kahlil Gibran asks in 'The Prophet', "Shall my heart become a tree heavy-laden with fruit that I may gather and give unto others? Shall my desires flow like a fountain that I may fill their cups?" Rusfond shows a way in which one can truly satisfy the soul's hunger and thirst”.

Ekaterina Zemtsova-Kamotskaya

A production, marketing and business development consultant and journalist who has been keenly involved in numerous charity projects both in Russia and the UK over the years, Katya holds a degree in Classics from the St Petersburg State University in her home town.  A founder of production management company Elephant, Katya now splits her life between London and Moscow, developing and running projects in arts and hospitality and building up cultural bridges between the two countries.

Stas Yoffe

has been involved in Rusfond UK since the very beginning and was instrumental in the founding of the charity, handling its formation, registration and every day running. He graduated from The European Business School in London in 2002, and subsequently worked in commodities trading and the property business before joining the London branch of a Netherlands based Trust Services Provider. In 2008 Stas became a leading Director of Skyteller Limited - a corporate management services provider, which currently manages directly over a hundred diverse businesses.
