Organizers: The educational Centre ‘Knowledge’ with the participation of charitable organizations Rusfond UK, Russian Circle, with the assistance of Rossotrudnichestvo, Russian Embassy in the UK and the Russian University of Peoples’ Friendship announces another General British Recitation Contest.


We would like to invite all of the students of schools and universities, all of the lovers of the Russian literature and language, and all of those who wish to demonstrate their literary recital skills to take part in the All British Recital Competition ‘The Verb of Time, My Genius, My Language’.


Age groups of participants

Group 1: 5–7 years

Group 2: 8–10 years

Group 3: 11–13 years

Group 4: 14 and above

The age of those taking part is determined on the day of the regional rounds.


‘The Verb of Time, My Genius, My Language’ is a charity event organised in support of Veronika Panova 


Conditions and the stages of the competition 

Participants must make a video recording of their recitals (up to 3 minutes) along with proof of their online charity donation £5 in support of Veronika Panova and email it to the event organiser: by 15th May.

The competent judges will decide who the winners and runners up are in each age category by 7th June.

Competition winners will be announced on 12th June.


Winners will be awarded on 22nd June. A charity auction will also take place to raise money in aid of Veronika Panova.
